This site is a tribute to Len who was born on March 21, 1929. He is much loved and will always be remembered, especially by Margaret and Virginia, Graham and Freya. He will be very much missed, especially for his great sense of humour, debating skills and also his singing (who am I going to sing with now Dad - guess I will just have to sing even louder for the two of us!).
Len enjoyed a very active and fulfilling life with Margaret and they thoroughly enjoyed their many holidays overseas or here in the UK - which usually involved a bit of walking. Len was also a very active volunteer in his community, ranging from being a Special with the Police, volunteering with the CAB for over 20 years, a school governor, North Downs Way Warden, Countryside Access Warden and being involved in local politics over many years.
Len's other great love, apart from Margaret of course, was his drawing and his art studio in the garden - he spent many hours drawing either on holiday, whilst walking around Charing, up on his beloved North Downs or in his studio. He also loved enjoying time with his granddaughter, Freya and shared his love of drawing, singing and dancing with her as well!
We will all miss you so very much, but have such fond and loving memories of you - which will be treasured forever.
